Who can join Girls Play Off-Road?
Any woman who has a passion for Jeeps, Broncos, 4 Runners, Side By Sides, or any type of 4 wheel drive vehicle, that is into offroading or overlanding is welcome to join, regardless of experience level.
Do I need to own a Jeep to be a member??
Absolutely not! While owning a Jeep is beneficial for participation in events, it is not a strict requirement. We have members with all different types of 4 wheel drive vehicles. Enthusiasts who share values are welcome.
How often does GPOR meet??
Girls Play Off-Road holds monthly meetings, get togethers, lunches, dinners, and ice cream socials, with additional events and trail rides scheduled throughout the year.
What types of activities does the club organize?
Girls Play Off-Road organizes a variety of activities, including trail rides, charity events, regional and national trips, workshops, social gatherings, and community service events.
Is there a membership fee?
At this time, membership is free but in the future, there may be a cost effective annual membership fee that helps cover the cost of events, club operations, and member benefits.
Can I bring family members or friends to club events?
Yes, family members and friends are welcome at many events, though some activities may be members-only to maintain focus on our mission.
What should I bring to a trail ride or events?
Essential items include a well-maintained vehicle, but if you own any safety gear or recovery equipment, then we welcome those things as well. Food, water, and appropriate clothing are also essential as we can be out on trails or attending events all day. Specific event requirements will be communicated beforehand.
How do I sign up for events?
Events will be communicated to all members on the official GPOR Facebook page, or in future newsletters.
What if I’m new to offroading and don’t have much experience?
Girls Play Off-Road welcomes newcomers and provides mentorship, training sessions, and beginner-friendly events to help you gain confidence and skills.
